Junk of the month

By Z. Lewis

Senior D. Minor with his Toyota 4Runner.
This issue's Junk of the Month goes to Senior D. Minor and his 2000 Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner resembles a highly armored truck and does well in safety tests according to usnews.rankingsandreviews.com. Unfortunately, these safety features could not save the car from sporting some obvious damage to the front of the vehicle due to a recent accident. Minor says this: "The whole front of the car is destroyed. Look at it. I've wanted to be a Junk [of the Month] for a long time. But that is ugly." The outside of the vehicle is not the only problem with the car. The inside "…smells terrible. I think I left a sandwich or something in here and it rotted," Minor says. When showing off his car, Minor proceeded to start the car. Immediately, the engine produced a noise resembling a scream, and then fell into a constant rhythmic screech. Minor's Toyota 4Runner is the final Junk of the Month for this calendar year.
